All drivers must be between 23 and 80 years old and must have held a valid driving licence for at least 1 year. Drivers aged 73–80 are subject to a 10% senior driver charge.

A valid driving licence and a passport or ID card. If your licence is not in Latin characters, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is also required.

Every Caranty car hire in Corfu includes Basic Insurance (CDW/TP). For extra peace of mind, you can upgrade to Standard or Full Insurance when booking. Please note that insurance does not cover damage to the interior, roof or underbody, lost keys, wrong fuel, off-road driving, unauthorised drivers, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Yes. All Caranty rentals come with unlimited kilometres, so you can explore every beach, village and viewpoint of Corfu at no extra cost.

We operate a same-to-same fuel policy. Please return your rental car with the same fuel level it had at pick-up. Any missing fuel will be charged at the local retail price.

Besides Corfu Airport car rental, we offer pick-up and drop-off at Corfu Port, Corfu Town and many locations across the island, including Ermones/Glyfada, Roda/Acharavi, Sidari, Barbati/Nissaki, Ipsos/Dassia, Gouvia/Kontokali, Benitses and Kavos. Delivery to remote areas may carry an additional charge.

Yes. Baby, infant and booster seats are available for €3 per day each, and GPS for €7 per day. Simply add them when you book your Corfu car rental online.

Our minimum rental period is just 1 hour. That makes Caranty a flexible choice for both short trips and longer car hire in Corfu.

We’ll coordinate with you by phone or WhatsApp to explain exactly where our van will be waiting. From there, we’ll take you to our office, just 200 metres from the airport arrivals area, to complete the paperwork and collect your car.

Please return your car to our office near Corfu Airport. Once the return process is complete, we’ll take you to the airport in our van.

“Or similar” means that your booking is for a vehicle category rather than a guaranteed make and model. We always try to provide the exact model you selected. If this isn’t possible, we’ll provide a similar vehicle in the same category. Depending on availability, we may offer an upgrade to a higher category, but upgrades cannot be guaranteed.

No. Our rental vehicles may only be driven on Corfu and cannot be taken on ferries or to other islands.
